Nigeria’s Super Eagles have arrived in Rabat ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 semi-final clash against host nation Morocco scheduled for Wednesday.
The team made the journey by road from Fez to the Moroccan capital, a move confirmed in a video shared on Monday on X by popular Nigerian sports photographer Sulaimon Adebayo, widely known as Pooja. The footage showed the players and team officials travelling aboard an official AFCON team bus through the city.
“Super Eagles arrive Rabat by road from Fez ahead of their clash with Morocco on Wednesday,” Pooja wrote alongside the video.
Nigeria will face the Atlas Lions at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in a high-stakes last-four encounter, with a place in the final of the continental tournament up for grabs. Morocco, as hosts, are expected to enjoy strong home support in the crucial fixture.
The Super Eagles have been one of the standout teams at the tournament, producing solid performances to reach the semi-finals. Their arrival in Rabat signals the start of final preparations, as the team intensifies training and fine-tunes tactics ahead of what is expected to be a fiercely contested match.
